Description This is for a vintage vacuum tube amplifier from a Westinghouse portable stereo record player. It's chassis number V-2507-12, from model H-79ACS1. It uses a a pair of 50C5 output tubes, and a 12AX7 preamp. This is a transformerless "hot" chassis design, so a pair of high fidelity audio isolation transformers were added to the audio line input. The avoids hum, and reduces the shock hazard. It would be a good idea to power it from an AC line isolation transformer. Condition It has new capacitors, and is in working condition, but assume it will need some minor tweaks to suit your needs. It's a bare amplifier chassis, so it will need to be mounted/enclosed for safety. There is no bottom cover, so hazardous voltages are exposed under the chassis. This is a project for someone who is familiar with safely working around high voltages, and vacuum tubes. In the box You are will receive amplifier shown in the pictures. The tube layout, and Sam's folder are for reference, and NOT included.
