Weirdest iPod ever: Mini Shuffle Gen 3 with charge/transfer wire
This little thing looks like a tie clip. I think it was a dud for Apple and there are not many around, that I could find.
This iPod came out around 2009. It has no operating buttons (other than one-off). It was originally sold with wired earbuds with a volume control mic built it. I do not possess those original earbuds but I plugged in my own wired earphones and was able to control the player with it. If you push pause, the song pauses, if you push volume up twice, it skips a song, etc. There are several commands it can do, including setting a play list, and it also talks to you when you hold the pause button and tells you what song is playing.You can find all the commands online. It holds 1000 songs, reportedly.
