The speaker does turn on when plugged in, but the turntable doesn't spin, looks like it needs to be attached to the motor. But it does work in the sense that the needle does "pick-up". Needs some work. Rare Symphonette piece, also was called "The Salesmen" because apparently record distributors used it to help play and sell records while on the road. Don't know to much about it, I'm simply a Reseller. No guarantees on its performance, but like I said the speaker does turn on/work when plugged in.
