Vintage Pioneer CT-F4242 Stereo Cassette Tape Deck Player/Recorder Power Tested The item up for sale is not fully tested for functionality as we do not have the capability to test; Unit has been inspected and the results are as follows. The item is in E) Used, Poor cosmetic condition. For cosmetic condition, please refer to the Product Grading System - Below. Moderate scuffs and scratches to the top of the device. Minor rust to the case of the device. The tape deck cover is a little crooked. Some of the playback buttons are crooked but functional. The toggle switches move with ease and I was able to turn the knob with ease. I was able to reset the counter. All ports and connectors are showing signs of age (See Photo 9) . I was able to power on the device. The most of the lights came on (See Photos 1-4) . I was able to connect an in-house speaker to the device and insert an in-house cassette tape. However, no audio was heard through the speaker. The device will rewind and fastforward the tape, as well as play and stop. No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources. The device is being sold for repair, refurbishment or reuse by the buyer. It is not intended for recycling or disposal. No speaker or other accessories included.
