Westinghouse 1963 Stereo Console Record Player/Radio Model H-M1750 Hello, Jimmy O here... I recently sold a similar model Westinghouse to a customer, and they absolutely love it... (See my feedback) It's such a fun and beautiful console, that I was thrilled to have found another... Wow!! I just finished restoring this fantastic vintage HiFi from Westinghouse... This beauty was made in 1963, is full tube powered, and sounds just as good as it looks! Check out the video below for a small sample of what this console sounds like!
Watch Video What I love about this particular console, is that it was designed to be the perfect compact size, not overpowering like many of the larger consoles. You can fit this cute Hi-Fi in practically any room of your house; Measures 30 inches long, by 18 1/2" deep and stands 28 1/2" tall with the legs. The main cabinet is just beautiful, having been recovered in a classic Midnight Black, with a White Dove interior. The original tweed speaker grill cloth is still like new. ( There are a few small bumps on the left front edge of the black covering; no big deal, and not very noticeable, only mentioned for accuracy... see close up.) The sharp looking 4 speed record changer operates super smooth, was completely taken down, cleaned and re-lubed in order to operate as it should. Has a new stereo cartridge and stylus installed, so you can play both Mono or Stereo records on this. You can stack records, and each will drop in turn, and play through. There is also a very fun automatic 45 adapter, which allows you to stack 45 records, and they will all play automatically!

The main control panel allows you to adjust: Phono/AM/FM, On/Off, Volume, Bass, Treble, and Balance. AM and FM radio work and sound great as you can see in the video... ( This particular model does not include the optional stereo unit that Westinghouse made available to the customer if they wanted, though personally I can't tell that much of a difference with or without it... FM still sounds awesome! ) Here's the FM and AM playing!

Using the Pricetronic App? Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] Just look at those cool knobs! What a great design from back in the day when every detail mattered... form as well as function! The tube amplifier has all new capacitors, and all tubes tested strong! I added 2 New Old Stock Westinghouse 35EH5 blackplate output tubes that give the amplifier that fabulous warm, full tube punch... Dual Alnico speakers located on either side, provide the full sound you would expect from a vintage console. The gold wooden tapered legs are the final touch, and of course give this HiFi that wonderful Mid Century look! What more can I say? Westinghouse made quality consoles back in the day that look beautiful and sound fantastic, and this one is no exception! When this fun console is set up in your home, you'll be simply thrilled listening to your records once again, the way records were meant to be listened too!! So, turn on the HiFi, mix the cocktails, and make mine a double! Remember : YOU CAN BE SURE... IF IT'S Westinghouse! Thanks for visiting! Jimmy O "Restoring America, one record player at a time..."
