Technics SL-1200 MK3D Direct Drive Turntable Extras + Upgrades See

Technics SL-1200MK3D in excellent condition with upgraded components and extras, in original box + packing. I'm the only owner, and it has stayed on my audio rack. There are some scratches on the top surface and minor marks on dust cover, see pics. The tonearm height adjustment is *very* stiff but will move, which happens over time. This is serviceable- the old stiff grease needs to be cleaned off the helical and replaced. I never did this because I could still turn the collar.
The 1200's are classic, heavy and built to last, prized by their fans. This MK3D sounds fantastic, dead quiet and excellent bass. I ran it with a Zu-modified Denon DL-103 cartridge and it was wonderful with any genre I threw at it. I'm including the Grado cartridge so that the 1200 can be set up and used immediately in case you don't have a cartridge ready to go.

Will be very well packed in original box and packing, and then double-boxed in an oversized outer box with styrofoam packing peanuts and shipped Fedex w/in USA only. The tonearm will be secured for shipping, and the headshell (with cartridge mounted) and counterweight will be removed and packed carefully.
