TEAC W-525R Auto Reverse Cassette Player TESTED Works great some scuffs and scratches (see pictures). No remote. The TEAC W-525R is a stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by TEAC in 1992 and discontinued a year later. The main features of the TEAC W-525R are:, analog 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes. Typical front loading double cassette deck with the cassette compartment located on both sides of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well. Level meters used on the W-525R are generic digital peak reading meters. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the W-525R by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. Connection to other audio components for playback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
