As seen in video I was able to record from an external source onto the a blank disc. I recommend getting a laser cleaner for periodic cleaning. Remote is not included. All front panel buttons and controls function. Shows some wear with surface scratches on top of casing from being in a rack with other components resting on top. Comes as shown in photos.
