All functions are tested and working, but it runs too fast on both playback and recording, even at the slowest speed on the dial. Based on a cursory google search this seems like a common problem that is relatively easy to fix, but I don't have the time to try.
Additionally, a bit of the front plastic broke off long ago, revealing some of the internals, and the plastic window on the front isn't adhered (though it looks brand new and still has the Sony sticker on it). Also, the internal battery cover is missing
