Up for sale is this vintage Sony Walkman WM-2051; I've tested it, and it does work, however with my headphones, if the jack is inserted all of the way, the audio sounds quiet/distorted. This can be resolved by pulling the headphones out slightly and then it sounds normal. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my headphones or with the player itself, I have encountered this issue on a couple other devices with the same headphones in the past and I resolved it by layering some tape around the headphone jack, or wrapping some tape around the headphone plug, to prevent it from seating all the way in. Because of this issue, I am selling this player AS-IS with no returns.
Tested and works (read above), has a fair amount scratches on it, includes a new set of batteries and the cassette shown. No other accessories are included. Sold AS-IS with no returns.
