Both units *work* but please read full description of issues below:
Sony headset, powers on and works but some stations don't tune in well (at least in my area). The battery compartment cover comes lose and is held in with a screw which is not original to unit.
GE tape player. It plays, all functions work. Buttons are a little sticky. It is missing battery cover and piece that latches tape door closed. It still plays and works without it.
Headphones do not go with the tape player, they are separate units (this listing is for both units).
Cosmetic condition of both is pretty good and can be seen in pictures.
