Sony Blu Ray with Remote. Portable. Everything works but has static in

Unique Sony portable Blu Ray player. Compact size. Everything works, clear sharp picture quality, but now there is static in the audio. I do not know the reason, but please don't purchase unless you understand this problem and are prepared to possibly have repaired. NOTE: I replaced this unit with a full-sized player, and this remote that comes with this player worked on the new player as well, so the remote seems to operate many Sony Blu Ray players. Plays both Blu Ray and DVD disc as well as other formats.
