The Sanyo M9994, in Japan also known as the Sanyo MR-X965, was introduced in 1978. The M9994 is equipped with quite unique features, rarely seen on other cassette radios: 2 portable treble speakers that can be rotated outward or inward allowing directional focusing of the high frequencies.
this boombox is beautiful designed and has a first-class, solid structure. The top and two sides of the device are covered with aluminium. Keys and levers are solid, well-finished. The recorder has 3 VU meters, 2 are used to display the sound intensity and the other shows the radio wave strength and power strength. The model is presented by Sanyo as a "Professional" cassette radio.
