Portable Cassette Player

Up for sale is this portable personal Cassette player.  My wife used this for listening to her audio books, but now, she listens to cd's.  So the Walkman has been sitting for a while.  Could stand a good cleaning.  But I put batteries on it and listened to a tape and tried all the buttons.  The tape sounded good, but this unit is meant for children, so it has an AVLS system that keeps the volume low and  I don't know how to turn that part off.  Also, I don't believe this model has auto shut off, so it won't click off at the end of the tape.  Also, the sponge is torn off inside the battery compartment and the positive terminal is dirty.  But it does work.  There are blemishes and scratches outside the case from use and the door may be loose at the hinge on the bottom or maybe it's just made that way(see photos).   But it does not come off.   Shipping will be USPS.  Will not be shipped with batteries or headphones.
