can read and write a variety of disc media including CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Additionally, it supports M-DISC, which offers durable, long-term storage for archiving. Users who have a lot of data to store will also be able to use Blu-ray Triple Layer and Quadruple Layer discs. It has a max speed of 6x on Blu-ray media and features a slim, slot-loading design.

System Requirements
The Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD attaches via an available USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 or 2.0 port and requires a 2.66 MHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, 2.1 GHz AMD Phenom 9450, or faster CPU and Intel G45, NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT, AMD Radeon HD2600, or faster graphics. Additionally, this player requires 2GB of RAM for Blu-ray playback and at least 3GB of RAM for editing HD video. A minimum of 5GB of available HDD space is also required; at least 128GB of available space is required for creating quad-layer Blu-ray Discs. An HDCP-compliant display with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 is required for Blu-Ray playback.
BDXL Support
This drive supports BDXL Blu-ray media including 128GB Quadruple Layer and 100GB Triple Layer Blu-ray discs.
M-DISC Support
For long-term storage, this disc drive supports reading and writing M-DISC media.
PureRead 4+
When enabled, PureRead 4+ makes the drive reread obscured data, whether it's from scratches or fingerprints, to extract the original audio as accurately as possible.
PowerRead
With PowerRead enabled, the drive will attempt to read the next available data point when encountering scratches or fingerprints for smoother Blu-ray and DVD movie playback.
Audio Quiet Mode
