Nakamichi AV-2 5.1 surround sound Nakamichi OEM / factory Remote Receiver came out at the time when Nakamichi was still using the Stasis amps and moving into the newer ones. Follow the link you can read audiophile reviews of this from years ago: http://www.audioreview.com/product/amplification/a-v-receivers/nakamichi/av-2.html It’s heavy and well built, beast to say the least and looks good. Tuning range: FM, MW Power output: 70 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Surround output: 70W (front), 35W (center), 20W (rear) Frequency response: 10Hz to 70kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.1% Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 76dB (line) Speaker load impedance: 4Ω to 16Ω Video Connections: composite Dimensions: 432 x 135 x 375mm Weight: 12.5kg I have had this for a few years now, it's a really nice receiver, loud. It can run two sets of speakers plus a center and two rear along with a sub. Included: AV-2 receiver with factory remote . Remotes are hard to find and cost $50 minimum , saw one on Pricetronic for $60 plus shipping I really don’t want to part with it but I am downsizing, I have a Nak TA-2A so I don't need this. Remote works fine. It's a really nice receiver, perfect for using an equalizer, phono and 2 cassette decks in addition to CD player. It has inputs for VCR and VDP which can used to connect other devices like Bluetooth adapter or an old iPod. Tape monitor - great for hooking up an equalizer Subwoofer output on this was excellent I cleaned it up, painted and touched up nicks, and used Deoxit on moving parts like selector buttons and pots to remove any oxidation. Since I haven’t been using it for the last 6 months I did some testing prior to listing it. I hooked up some bose speakers to the Center and rear speakers to test and made a video. I also tested the different sound settings, Dolby, hall, etc which you can see in the video. If you are serious, contact me and i will give you a link to view them on my OneDrive public.
