HiFiMAN HM-801 First Portable Hi-Fi Music Player w/ Box - TESTED Rare HTF. This was number 00235 manufactured from the original run. Very low serial number!

This is a rare and unique piece to portable hifi music players. There is only one other listing and that one is over 10k!
You get everything pictured and it is all in excellent condition. There is one blemish on the player where a piece of the paint has been chipped off.
The Hifiman will accept up to 32GB SD cards. Unit can get a firmware upgrade to Rockbox which will allow cards up to 256 GB. The new owner can attempt this as I’m not that tech savvy lol.
One 8GB card is included.

I will remove the battery during shipping in order for it to stay safe. The battery does work but is very old and a new battery should be purchased if you plan to use the device as a music player. Battery life as-is, did not test a full run of the battery.
