Works for all types 1 or type 2 Mego Models and on the Sanyo RD 8020A Tape Player/Recorder and other models as well. You would have to match this part at your own risk. Was serviced while in a working unit with other issues before it was removed to be sold. It is calibrated for a Mego 2-xl unit so you will have to adjust it when installing in other brands where it fits. You may get one that has never been repaired or you may get a repaired bracket. You may get one that has a light covering of plastic cement on the bracket if it was showing sings of stress at the screw area at the top of the bracket. You may get one that had a crack and was repaired then tested to work. I have a 2-XL shop where I can repair, fix and tune up 2-XL's and 8 track players like new. I spend a lot of time on each unit. I own my own company and do it as a hobby. When considering my time and costs I'm not really making any money just the satisfaction from the hobby.
