This listing is to add a USB-C port to your iPod order from my shop, replacing the 30-pin dock port. This will allow you to sync & charge your iPod with a USB-C cable, giving it an updated way to interface with your computer.
This mod will also include line out audio through the USB-C port, requiring a passive USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (one will be included with your order).
In addition, you have the option of further customizing your iPod by including a 'DIYMod', in which I replace the small capacitors the line out audio travels through with large audio grade capacitors, your choice of Nichicon or Elsa Silmic II (now discontinued). This will be installed with silver plated solid core wire, and I will leave the original caps on the board so the mod is reversible if you later decide to go back to a semi stock state.
Again, please note this is only for your custom iPod order from my shop, I am currently not ready to take mail in orders to modify yours for you. Hopefully that will be open as well soon.
Some caveats: including the DIYMod and Taptic may require a thick case iPod, as the capacitors aren't small and I will need the extra space to install them.
Also note this will add a few days to your iPod's build time.
